Moore Hong Kong GBA & ESG Green Technology Vision Forum Concludes Successfully

The GBA & ESG Green Technology Vision Forum concluded successfully on 7 March 2025, Friday. This forum brought together leaders, experts, and stakeholders from various industries to discuss and promote sustainable development and green innovation.
 
The forum was opened by Moore Hong Kong Managing Director, Helen Tang, and Transaction Services Managing Director, Kenneth Ma. Helen emphasised the importance of green technology, stating, “Green technology is the key to future development, while ESG is the core of corporate sustainability.”  Kenneth expressed hope that the forum would foster collaboration among various parties within the Greater Bay Area to jointly promote green technology.

During the panel discussion, several experts participated, including:

The discussion was moderated by Moore Advisory Services Principal, Plato Wong. Panel speakers actively shed their insights on green technology and ESG, sharing the role of the financial industry in promoting green technology, experiences of corporate responses to climate change, and the latest trends in ESG practices and developments in the Greater China region.

In the latter part of the forum, InvestHK (Sustainability), Technology, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Senior Vice President, Olivia To, delivered a presentation titled “Hong Kong’s Path to Carbon Neutrality: Guide to Navigate the Green Tech Market,” providing insights into the latest developments in Hong Kong’s green technology market.
 
The forum concluded with closing remarks from Moore Advisory Services Director, Joe Chan, who thanked all participants for their active involvement and support. Joe noted, “The success of this forum marks a significant step in promoting green technology and ESG in the Greater Bay Area, laying a solid foundation for future sustainable development.”
