Joe Chan promoted to Principal of Governance, Risk & Internal Audit Service
Moore Hong Kong is excited to announce the promotion of Alvin Lee and Joe Chan to the position of Principal of Governance, Risk & Internal Audit Service with effect from 1 January 2023.
Alvin qualified in one of the largest international accounting firms and has experience working in the area of enterprise risk management, governance and advisory. He has worked for multiple types of engagements, such as internal audits, compliance review, risk management, corporate governance, internal control, fraud investigation and information technology risk advisory project for multi-national companies across different industries including finance services, information technology, start-ups, infrastructure, industrial manufacturing, consumer markets, energy and natural resources, telecommunication, technology and public sector.
Alvin is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA), Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). He is also a Certified Information System Auditor (CISA) and Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).
Joe has more than 15 years of extensive experience in corporate risk management, compliance governance, consulting and environmental, social and governance. He has been providing a wide range of advisory and assurance services to clients, including internal audits, compliance reviews, anti-money laundering compliance, risk management, corporate governance, Sarbanes Oxley regulations, internal controls, fraud investigations, information technology risk consulting, and environmental, social and governance. Joe serves listed companies, multinational corporations and public sector organisations in the United Kingdom, Singapore, China, Taiwan and Hong Kong. His clients span a variety of industries including banking, financial services, stored value payment instrument licensees, real estate development, property management, insurance, manufacturing, energy and natural resources, telecommunications, and technology.
Joe obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) in Accountancy from Hong Kong Shun Yan University. He is a member of the International Computer Audit Association (ISACA) and Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
