Moore Webinar - Climate Risk Management

Date/Time:

14:30 Tuesday 28 June

The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (‘HKMA’) released the Supervisory Policy Manual on Climate Risk Management (‘GS-1) on 30 December 2021. GS-1 provides guidance to authorised institutions (‘AIs’) on the key elements of climate-related risk management and sets out the HKMA’s approach and expectations for reviewing how AIs manage climate-related risk.

Even though GS-1 caters for the financial services sector, the new requirements, include embedding climate considerations throughout an organisation’s strategy formulation processes, incorporating climate-related risks into its risk management framework, and ensuring the effective management of inherent risks and the financial impact associated with climate risks apply to other industry sectors. The session will introduce GS-1 and how the Moore Global ESG framework can support organisations of different sectors in managing climate-related risks.

This complimentary webinar qualifies for 1.5 CPD hours, subject to the policies of your professional organisations.
