Description:
Responsibilities:
- Supervise junior staff and manage the team’s resources efficiently;
- Interact with senior management of the clients and/or business owners to understand areas such as historical and projected business performance, wider commercial issues, etc;
- Perform market research to assess the market trend and development;
- Perform analysis of financial and non-financial business information and provide value-added insights;
- Write and review financial or commercial due diligence (buy-side, sell-side or refinancing) reports for our corporate, banking, public, private equity and other clients;
- Prepare professional reports for different types of engagement;
- Work closely with the valuation and tax teams for joint projects;
- Develop internal and external business networks and maintain clients’ and business parters’ relationship; and
- Travel may be required, which is dependent upon the client/ target’s location.
Requirements:
- 5-year+ experience in auditing and/or financial due diligence is a must;
- Professional accounting qualification(s) such as CPA is a must;
- Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese, including Mandarin;
- Outgoing personality with positive attitude in facing new challenges;
- Independent in handling assigned tasks;
- Interpersonal skills (lead teams, mentoring and developing staff, confident interacting with clients and management);
- Business development mindset and network;
- Knowledge in data analysis and programming languages such as VBA, Python, R is a plus; and
- Candidates with less experience might be considered for the position of Senior Associate.
